Intermediate, 2-3 Hours, 6 Miles Round Trip

Description

Start at the Tracyton Boat Launch and cross southwest to Rocky Point. Continue around passing by Mud Bay, there isn’t much to see here, and it is quite mucky when the tide is low. After rounding the second peninsula you will make your way south into Ostrich Bay where you can paddle around and stop at N.A.D. Marine Park to break for lunch. On your return trip paddle north up to Erlands Point where you will turn and head east back towards Tracyton.

Special Considerations

The current coming through the Port of Washington Narrows can be quite strong with the changing of the tides. Try to plan this initial crossing at slack tide if possible.
