Intermediate, 2-3 Hours, 6 Mile Round Trip
Description
Start at the Water Street boat launch and paddle west, to your left, passing around the outside of the marinas. Paddle along the shore to Ross Point where you should cross to the far shore and continue on west to Gorst Creek. The salmon return to spawn mid October through November so watch for them jumping if you are on the water during the fall. You can then loop around the south shore to return.
Special Considerations
The north shore of Sinclair Inlet is home to a Naval Base, keep to the southern half of this body of water. Be mindful of boaters and stay clear of the ferry operations.
