Description
Paddle around the popular Purdy Spit exploring Burley Lagoon. Parking and water access on the spit is on the south side of the busy road. Hit the water and head to your left along the shore. Cross underneath the bridge and head north into the sheltered lagoon. During a higher tide you can explore up into Burley Creek.
Special Considerations
During warmer weather The Spit area can get quite busy with activity from beach-comber families, pets and their owners, swimmers and boat launchers. Parking along busy street.
