Intermediate, 2-3 Hours, 6 Miles Round Trip

Description

Visit Blakely Rock, an interesting geologic formation southeast of the island. Start out from Pritchard Park and head east around Bill Point and out of the Harbor. Follow the shore south until you reach the mouth of Blakely Harbor, a little shy of two miles into your paddle, and turn east towards Blakely Rock.

Special Considerations

Eagle Harbor is a busy but low-wake harbor, be mindful of boaters and stay clear of the ferry operations. As you venture further from shore, the water will be rougher and wind will be of a greater concern. Watch out for questionable conditions.
