For 2019 we have made significant changes to the Paddle Bainbridge route. The paddle is now one day and will begin at Fay Bainbridge Park and end in Eagle Harbor. This will make the paddle much more manageable for participants of all ages and fitness levels. We will have the current aiding us most of the way. *Not much current influence within Eagle Harbor.

We will start our Journey at Fay Bainbridge Park and paddle south with amazing views of downtown Seattle and Mt Rainier. Our first rest stop will be on the North side of Yeomalt Point, which is approximately 4 miles or about 2 hours of paddling from the start (no Bathroom). Here we will have a chance to stretch, refuel and get the group back together. From Yeomalt we will continue South, paddling past Wing Point and into Eagle Harbor for a quick stop at Prtichard Park ,(Bathroom), which plays host to the Japanese Internment Memorial on the Island. Here we will once again stretch, refuel and have a chance to check out the memorial. This section of our journey from Yeomalt to Pritchard Park will be 3 miles and require about 1.5 hours of paddling. The last leg of our journey from Pritchard Park to Strawberry Park will be 1.5 miles within the protection of Eagle Harbor and take us about 45 min. Times are approximations and may vary depending on our group and conditions.

Paddlers may use their own equipment or rent a kayak or a stand-up paddleboard from us. If you rent from us, we’ll bring all the equipment to you on the day of the event. Kayak and Paddleboard Rentals are available and will be delivered and picked up at the event for your convenience.
