SUMMARY:Kopachuck Low Tide Beach Walk
DESCRIPTION:Get to know the unique animals that inhabit the intertidal zone with biologists and volunteer naturalists! Our low tide beach walks are FREE* and suitable for all ages. Each beach walk will last approximately 60-90 minutes and includes a lesson on beach etiquette. No two beach walks are the same; we never know what amazing animals we will find! \nMeet toward the right side of the parking lot\, where the gravel road heads down to the beach. Look for Harbor WildWatch staff and volunteers wearing blue. If you arrive late\, find us on the beach! \nIn addition to our beach walk on Tuesday\, July 30\, you are also welcome to learn more about intertidal photography with Steve Henry! Steve is a local wildlife photographer and will have professional and fun tips for both DSLR photography with digital cameras\, as well as iPhone photography. Great for photographers of all levels. \nPlease dress for the weather. Boots or footwear that can get wet is recommended. Flip Flops or other open toed footwear is not recommended for safety reasons. Discover Pass is required to park at Washington State Parks. https://discoverpass.wa.gov/ \n* Donations are appreciated. Harbor WildWatch is a 501(c)3 organization.
